Pilsner Urquell is a Czech beer, produced since 1842. It is a pale lager characterized by high quality and a distinctive hop aroma.

The beer consists of four basic ingredients: water, malt, hops, and yeast. Malt is obtained from cereals, most often from malting barley, and serves as a source of sugar for fermentation. Hops give the beer its characteristic bitter taste and aroma. Yeast then converts sugars into alcohol and carbon dioxide.

Pilsner Urquell is brewed using traditional methods with a high proportion of hops and Czech malt. The beer has a light golden color and a fine head. The aroma is fruity with light hop notes. The taste reveals bitterness, which gradually transitions into sweetness and finally into a slightly caramel impression.

Pilsner Urquell has an alcohol content of 4.4% by volume and is packaged in 0.33-liter glass bottles. The beer is recommended to be served chilled at a temperature of around 6 °C.
